3 reasons why i will watch this anime till the full

1) Its made by production ig the same studio that made haikyuu and kuroko no basket
2) It focus more a player going pro rather than competing in highschool tournaments and the mental, physical and psychological effect of a football player
3) Just want a good foot ball anime last one was captain tsubasa and that was airing when my dad was still a kid

Ace of Diamond is actually extremely realistic in this sense. Growth isn't always linear and just because he got over one hurdle doesn't mean his issues are gone forever. I understand that fans can get restless but MC is definitely not dumb and useless. It's a sport. It never goes smoothly, even for the best. His growth and development make sense, he's slowly learning too. Expecting him to get over all his issues at once and stay amazing is more suitable for battle shounen.
